When Angelina Santiago sees Miki Kendrick off for her flight to visit their friend and Mangus Pack's Alpha, Sara, she literally bumps into a gorgeous hillbilly in the airport. A week later she's heading off for her own flight to California for Sara's birthday celebration when shes attacked in a parking garage. Reacting on instinct, she smacks down the woman and see hyenas ???? yup those are hyenas. Angie is saved when two tigers jump to the rescue. She wakes up naked in a strange bed to see a tiger walking down the hall, it stops, walks into the room and shifts into the hillbilly from the airport - gloriously naked. Never one to rely on others, Angie plans to save herself. She fakes nausea, gets him to help to the bathroom, smacks him with the toilet tank lid, makes a run for it wrapped in a sheet, gets cut off by his 2 tiger brothers, runs to his bedroom, finds a shotgun and cuts loose when he gets near the door. (Angie gets huge points from me for moxie!)

Nikolai Vorislav figures his brothers have a lot to answer for by kidnapping and then dumping the Latina termagant in his house. Finding out she's best friends with Sara Morrighan, alpha of the Mangus Pack, makes things harder. A phone call to Sara and Zack Sheridan, her mate, and Angie learns about an attack on Miki and her pregnancy. So Angie figures it would be safest for everyone if she just sits tight till the pack can rescue her. She also decides her delicate sensibilities can only be soothed by shopping therapy. AmEx Black never looked so good, especially with Nik's name on the card.

Sara has her inner wolf and a killer instinct, Miki has all those brains, but Angie, the girly girl of the three friends, ends up being the one that learns the unpleasant truth about the death of Sara's mother and manages to bring peace to Pride and Pack - along with great fashion and high heels. And those Ferrgamos end up being put to very good use.

Laurenston hits her stride with Here Kitty, Kitty and this book has the best cast of characters beyond the two leads. Angie and Nik are fun. Nik's relationship with extended Vorislav family is well developed and really plays a major role in the story. Thanks to the Vorislav's and Angie, this story rises above very good and becomes the best of the Pack series.

I know some people put this book in erotic romance, but those looking for true erotic romance will be disappointed. This is a humorous shifter story with no more sex than your average steamy mainstream, less than many. It's good fun and a laugh out loud read.

Erotic Paranormal romance by Shelly Laurenston. Third book of the Magnus Pack series. Sara and Miki's (from Pack Challenge and Go Fetch!) best friend Angie is attacked by hyena's and saved by were-tigers. She ends up kidnapped for her own good, and in the home of were-tiger Nik. But, who is going to save Nik and his family from Angie? The first thing Angie does is knock him out with a toilet seat, and then shoots at him with a shotgun! Angie is a fashion diva, with a vicious fast temper. Before Angie's friends come to "rescue" her, Nik figures out that his days as a lone tiger are only a memory. This is a great, fast, funny book. The characters are great, the family dysfunction continues, and the sex scenes are hot. Love the book, and the whole series.

Another excellent read from SL and one for the keeper shelves. She consistently does HOT, funny stories about shifters. She delivers great characters, witty dialogue and fast paced plots on a consistent basis. I Here Kitty, Kitty she introduces were-tigers, hillbilly talkin' RICH Siberian were-tigers... The heroine is Angie, the last of the troika of friends introduced in Pack Challenge. Miki, Sara, and the Magnus Pack play significant [though frequently off-scene] roles in the story resolution so it is best if these are read in order. My personal favorite of the the Magnus Pack stories, I'm so glad this one was reissued!

Not as smooth as the other stories but I did enjoy the humor and the characters. I laughed so hard during certain scenes. It's rude, violent, and crass and I loved every second of it. It's actually quite refreshing. I love the tiger family and all the slapstick scenes. Would love to continue reading about them.

Wasnt one of my favorite Shelly Laurenston books but it was still good. She always puts her usual sarcastic flair to her writing that makes me laugh out loud. Looking forward to reading another by her soon.

Another great book by this author. It doesn't matter if you read these in order - they're good both ways. These are keepers! This has got to be my favorite though. Miki is just great and will keep you laughing

self centered, obnoxious, foul mouthed heroine really made this a tough book for me. The delightful hillbilly hero offered some relief. Shape-shifter world with virtually no world building, relying on gang-type behavior and relationships. Sex is pretty sexy though!
