Nice book about the man and the town. Great local history since I've live in Lancaster County my entire life.

An interesting look into the life of Milton Hershey. The memoir tells of how Hershey built his empire; the struggles, his failures, his successes. The book tells about Hershey's original adventure making the caramel, experimenting with chocolate until the chocolate bar was made to his perfection. The book tells of his family life & travels, and competition with other major companies who were also coming about in the late 1800's and early 1900's. The book has much interesting historical fact for the reader. The book is a great read; and for one who love confections!
