Okay book, wasn't what I expected. The plot was very thin and left me with questions that I still didn't have the answers to by the end of the book.

This author has a true talent for creating images with words. A fairly odd little book, would make a good beach read.

Boring..... Worst I have ever read out of Piccirilli. I give it 3 stars only because it perked up towards the end.

This was a very good book. I like how it twisted completely around at the end, just when I thought I figured it out.

From the back of the book:
Matthe Galen came back home to Summerfell for a reason. Not to visit his family. Not to relive childhood memories. No, he came back because his best friend was in a hospital for the criminally insane - for crimes too unspeakable to believe.
But Matthew knows the terrifying truth. The ultimate evil doesn't reside in his friend's twisted soul. It comes from a far darker place, a place only Matthew knows. And only Matthew can stop the evil - if he dares.

This book was hard for me to get into. Didn't care for it too much.
