Heroine tries to assert her independence from overbearing father. Hero supports her while trying to protect her from drug lord, Long-standing mutual attraction finally comes to a head (pun intended) Lots & lots of sex. A twist in the plot - by golly, I liked it! Check your brain at the door & enjoy it for what it is - a good, summer beach read.

These just get better & better. This is Kell's story. He is tormented by an awful past but Emily, the girl he saved from Fuentes, is the 1 bright light in his life. He's wanted her for years & she's wanted him too. Now that there is another threat to her life he steps in to protect her but who will protect his heart. Lots of action & we get to read about old characters as well. Looking forward to Ian's story next. Enjoy!

Wowee! This book is hot hot hot! The hero is a Navy SEAL, Cajun, rides a Harley, is a definite Alpha male...what's not to love?!

I couldn't believe the amount of sex in this book! But I agree with Pam K. - by golly! I liked it! The sex scenes were very graphic, but well-written. The sexy alpha-male Kell and his obsession, Emily - their romance and passion was hot! An interesting crime/drug lord mystery, with a twist! It was for me an enjoyable beach read. I just might even read another one of Lora Leigh's books.

I never thought I would be saying this, but this book had way too many sex scenes. It slowed down the plot. The scenes were sensual and well written, but they lost their appeal after a while( the point of diminishing returns)!
It semed like after every major plot advancement, the couple Kell and Emily jumped in the sack! Otherwise, it's a good suspense novel worth reading.

HOT!! Lora Leigh gets right down to it without leaving you wanting. Not for the faint of heart because she is very graphic but oh so very good. I really enjoy her books. She keeps you on edge in more than one way.
I'm enjoying this whole series. I look forward to reading more of Lora Leigh's books

Love this series. Those Seals make your mouth water.
So far I'm really enjoying this series. Each book is a stand alone novel with each book mentioning previous books. These books are about Navy Seals and the journey they take when trying to keep safe the woman they love. The perils of their job make loving someone dangerous and in these stories you see the reason why. With a constant bad guy that the seals can't seem to catch and the suspense of keeping those they love safe, these books can easily become an addiction in disguise.
An added bonus to these stories are the hot and explosive sex scenes, which Lora Leigh writes with explicit details. Lora Leigh can write some panty soaking scenes that leave you dripping with desire. If your like me and you like books with a little adventure, a little suspense and a whole lot of steamy lines, then look no further.
This story about Navy SEAL Kell Kreiger and Emily. He's loved Emily since she was a teenager but decided long ago to keep a distance because of his fears. Feeling she was too young, too innocent, and too good for a man like him, Kell never showed his feelings for her. All those around could see his love for Emily growing except for Kell or Emily. It takes a kidnapping to change his world. After saving her for a kidnapping and the threat of another one does Kell feel it's time to stop running from the inevitable.
This book was a fantastic read. I would like to mention for the faint of heart.......this book contains some very graphic sex scenes, so if your the kind of person who likes to read books with sexual tension without the graphic details then this book or series is defiantly not for you.

Kell & Emily r so sweet. Kell loves her SO much n can't help but make her feel sexy. Emily is a sweetheart, who just reflects how Kell makes her feel. These 2 r SEXY! its starts off sexy as hell. one of my fave scenes ever. n continues 2 just suck u in. Plus Kell is cajun, n that accent is wonderfully hot. as well as the other SEAL bk, the action, suspense, n sex just suck u in. Loved this one! KEEPER!!
Its a good story line. Intense but also has cute parts. Its a part of the series but this is my favorite out of all of them. Warning, it is hot!
Great fast paced and different from the last two Seal books.
I'm going to preface this by saying that I liked this book as a whole. The storyline and plot are interesting, as are the characters. A hard body SEAL with an accent that just makes you melt. His secret obsession Emily is strong and sassy, if a little strange. The only problem I have with this book is the ridiculous amount of sex scenes. Though every good romance novel has them & these are well written. Leigh could have filled a short story just with the sex. Some of it was misplaced and not believable. On page 25, Emily a 25 year old virgin, for no apparent reason chooses to do a lap dance at a local strip club for what she thinks is a stranger. The stranger turns out to be Kell, her own secret obsession, and though she doesn't realize it's him... she orgasms in his face though there was no touching and no licking going on. Are you kidding me??? Don't we all wish we could orgasm every time the wind blows? I had to force myself to keep reading after that, but glad I did. Can't wait to read Ian and Nathan's story. She did a good job weaving all the characters from previous & future books in and I like the way the story is unfolding.
Another great book in the Seals series.
Great Lora Leigh. Continues the story line of the three previous books. If you like Lora Leigh you will love the book. Strong Seal charactors with passion, temptation and danger.
This was ok. Better than some other Lora Leigh books and not as bad some others. I eventually got to the point I was skimming the book just to finish it. A bad sign for me. I didn't care much for the hero. He was ok. He wasn't like any of the men in the Breed series or the Nauti series. I give Leigh credit for making the heroine somewhat chubby and ordinary looking. Some of the characters that appear in the other Tempting SEALs books make a brief appearance in this one. The hero has a Cajun accent which comes out when he's feeling romantic, but at times it was just too much, but your mileage may vary.
Overall this is not a bad book and had this been written by another author, I probably would have rated it higher, but because it's Lora Leigh I was disappointed. I expected more.

This book was OK. I liked Maverick better, overall not a bad book though.
This book was very good and very hot. Definitely a good read. However, the name of the book and the back cover outlining the story don't fit. The book never talks about Kell being into a "secret world of dark intimacies" and he never "decides he's no good for her". So I'm not sure what story the back cover pertains to but its definitely not this one. But really a great read! This whole series is excellent.
This is the first Lora Leigh book I had ever read. If you like military men, series romance, good hot grinding sex, this is your girl. Made me a rabid fan and went crazy to buy all her books. It is not paranormal as her "Breeds" series. I like books that are based in reality. Her Nauti series is also a favorite--although the OPS series is not as hard core sex as the Nauti series. Just buy it. Better yet, read the whole series.
Very good book. Fast read. Had me guessing until the very end. I will definitely be reading more by this author.
Tough as nails Navy Seal Kell Kreiger is the best there is at searching, rescuing and taking no prisoners...yet even the rush of ever more dangerous missions isn't enough to satisfy him. Haunted by a tortured past, Kell seeks distraction in a secret world of dark intimacies. But when Emily Stanton, the one ray of light in Kell's shadowy existence, is pursued by a ruthless drug lord, the rules of the game suddenly change!
I really enjoyed this book. I didn't realize that it took off where her other book ended. Can't wait to read the next episode.
I love these stories and the characters are just great.
Hot and sexy as hell! I love the seals series and who wouldn't? These men are the stuff dreams are made of girls! Alpha males rock, and Kell is a prime cut of yummy alpha male! A must read and then a re-read. Keep a fan and a cool drink of water nearby, you'll need it!
Wow! Love the whole Tempting Seals series. Lora Leigh knows how to write some HOT stories!!

This was my first book by Lora Leigh and I'm looking forward to reading more of her work. I loved the intense relationship between Emily and Kell.
Saving lives is his mission. Saving her is his passion. Hot! Hot! Hot!
I so love this author and her books...great story..hot men...kick ass women, what more could you ask for?
The story was difficult to follow and not very interesting. I will stick to her Breed series.
