A very good book for the beginning vegetarian or as a refresher for someone who is going back to a vegetarian eating style. Very well balanced: contains philosophical, economical, and religious reasons that someone would go vegetarian and at the same time has a decent section with some very tasty recipes.

A good place to find gourmet vegetarian recipes with health, economic, ethical and spiritual advantages, based on the teachings of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. You can't ask for more than that.

Don't let the Hare Krishna thing scare you away from this book. It contains tons of delicious Indian vegetarian recipes that are sure to delight. Of course, you'll be eating healthy and avoiding mass-produced animal proteins. Good Karma!
