I wanted to love the book but didn't. I think we all buy with our eyes 1st and I was hoping for hot, sinful highlander action. Instead what you get is a brooding, insecure highlander who spends the entire book debating his thought and feelings for his young wife.

Ok, there's some hot sex in the second half of the book, & a menage a trois, anal sex, etc. But I found myself slogging through the first half of the book. I was very tempted to put it down & forget it except for the promise of steamy sex somewhere down the line. So for those of you who want some history with their sex, you'll have to wade through the morass of drama in the first half of the book. Too bad the author couldn't carry off the whole book this way.
