Amelia Tucker is a bodyguard. Shes tough and focused. Shes in Scotland with her latest client when things go wrong. Really wrong. After being knocked into a enchanted fountain that takes her back to 16th century Scotland, she realizes she just might be stuck there forever.... but that wont keep her from trying to get back to the 21st century.
I wont put out any spoilers but I did have a problem with the heroine in the last chapters. Her attitude and her stubborn streak did me in. I found myself liking Ian more than Colin.
Jo Barrett writes a good time travel story that kept me entertained in the beginning. Then as the story progressed, I admit that I did lose interest. I kept reading because I wanted to see what happened at the end. I thumbed through several pages to finally get to the last pages. I was hoping for a great ending but it just was mediocre to me. I was disappointed to say the least.
