I liked the idea of the mysterious highwayman but the fact Faris fell in love with him after only one meeting and then spent so much time thinking about him was a bit much. She fell in love with the mystery, the intrigue of a stranger, not the man himself. She reminded me of a confused school girl.
I got a little tired of Kade - he just wouldn't go away. How many times does he have to be told and shown to get lost?
Finally, as a history buff, I find it very unlikely the Lord of the manor would get on one knee to apologize to a chambermaid.
Overall, it was a quick, fun read with romance and mystery.
