I almost quit this book a couple of times but I stuck it out as some reviews said it gets better at the 3/4 mark and I usually don't go forward and just give up but this time I forged ahead

Thank goodness I stuck with it, I know a book has to get the story started but this one is riddled with so much description that I zipped through all that and it was about the half way point or just past that the story finally started

So don't give up on this one, the plot starts at the point that a farmer tells Liz to turn back (from the hike of a mountain trail) because a storm is coming but she doesn't listen or tell her friends, so when the storm hits? this is the point that I consider that the story really starts and from that point I changed my low rating to a higher rating of 4
