I knew Conrad Hilton was a hotel magnate, and that per Mad Men, he could be eccentric, like most multi millionaires. I did not know he was once married to Zsa Zsa Gabor. Son Nicky, known for his brief marriage to Elizabeth Taylor, who accused him of domestic violence, gets a more sympathetic treatment in this book. This well-researched history of the Hilton family was a revelation, and an interesting, and sometimes very funny, read.

This was easily one of the best researched books I've ever listened to. This book was thorough and very interesting. I was in the travel industry for almost 30 years, and knew the name Conrad Hilton well. It was fun to follow the career of this famous hotelier and his famous family. I had no idea that Zsa Zsa Gabor would play such a big role in this biography. I would recommend this book to anyone in the hotel or travel industry who wants a peek behind the great wizard's curtain. An excellent read.
