There was a time when I needed something more. When I felt not quite sure Sometimes time stood still Then I got down on my knees and I asked Him please Give me the strength to go on As I thought of all I had, all the times that I felt sad, A feeling came over me and I got up off my knees Looked at Heaven above And thanked Him for His love. For the sacrifice He made, For my sins, His life He gave. What a glorious life I have. There are some who have alot Some whom we've forgot Some who have died in vain Others who fight in His name. Standing face to face with their own reality, Waverying love and devotion is all they see. For all the joy and happiness, Glory be Thy name Forgive me of my shame I fear not the day, when I look into Your wonderous eyes. To hold without knowing To embrace without showing To embark without going Is all I have without You. Lord, You are great, and wonderous and true. My days are blessed when they are with You.
