Good Book. It has a cute ending. I enjoy reading this author. It has a great story line. The charters in hte book are well thought out.
Set in Regency England -- this man/woman falls in love. She is a Russian Hussian Calvery office from a minor count's family. Too good to ignore and not good enough to really count. The plot is based on a true story, but you really have to believe that the gal could not clean up that well.
Alex instantly fell for Dominic Aikenhead, Duke of Calder, knowing that he would never notice her-because to him she was Captain Alexandrov, a young man and a brave hussar!
Alex longed to be with her English duke just once, as the passionate woman she truly was. To be swept off her feet, wearing the finest of gowns, would be a dream come true. But there was danger in such thoughts. What if Dominic ever found out the truth?
