Look past the cheesy cover art & you'll find a great story. I read this in one day. I love any books with shifters & this did not disappoint. Jaxon is the main character ( a jaguar shifter) & Libby is his unclaimed mate. Oh, did I mention that he has orders to kill her! I won't tell anymore but I definitely recommend this & I can't wait for the next one in the series.

very impressive story line. Shifters, magick, demons, vampires, oh my! Love, of course, but the story doesn't END. I will be getting all the books in this series. I've found another author to be a FAV!

What I liked about the book. The other characters. Great suspence and action. Really good story. Some decent suprises when I actually said, "Wow."
What I didn't like. Jaxson's bad temper. It got real old, real fast. The assumption by all that Libby stabbed them in the back. When Jaxson's brother disappeared, he didn't seem to care. Libby was gone for three years. We know some of what was going on during that time, but three years? I still have one chapter left to read. Maybe that will have a few answers. I will get the next one.

This was a really good bood. I've gotten the 2nd in the series and am currently reading that now.

Jaguar shifter, Jaxon Castille and his elite group of warriors - a human, a vampire, a mage and a shifter - were betrayed by Libby, the only human in the group. Three years later Libby is found with no memory and horrific scars from lengthy torture sessions. Of course, Jaxon still loves her but he is fighting the feelings since he also hates her for betraying the team. The Team has reassembled in order to figure out who is trying to kill Jaxon and why.
This is a very sad book and I found myself with tears streaming down my face more than once. The tension and sexual heat between Jaxon and Libby is intense. And the sex...oo la la.

Just wasn't for me. I never really felt the love between Jaxon and Libby. I think it was because he let her go once. I like my heroes to love hard and never let go. I will read the next one in the series to see if I like that couple more.
Good read and beginning of what could be a good series. This book held your attention, the plot was good, and the characters were well defined.
