I found myself laughing outloud several times during this heartwarming romance. Who would have thought? Spence ("Mr. Sarcastic, Gruff, and Tough") tries to keep his love and desires for Lucy a secret...but the emotion is just too strong for him. He doesn't really know what to do with it and as the oldest child of the McKaslin Clan (Series 3), he has a lot of past hurts to overcome. Lucy was just the person to love him--though she also tries her best to resist. Wonderful story that includes most all of the McKaslin family characters.
