This book by Boyle is different than her usual books. Still set in the Regency period-there is a twist with a magic ring. Normally I wouldn't enjoy a book with that plot-but the characters were strong - and I couldn't figure out how they were going to get out of the mess they were in!
A magic ring, love, and 1 wish that comes true...just not quite the way Charlotte imagined.
A little dragging in places but still an enjoyable story! And look for another book to follow as this magical ring disappears at the end. =)

What would you do if you had a magic ring? One that would bring you your wish. Charlotte finds out. But, does she really want what she wished afterall? She has his attention, but not exactly the way she had imagined.
very good book. about wishes and learning to be carful what you wish for.
A really interesting plot makes this book shine, along with ELizabeth Boyle's lovely writing style.
A good read, though the magical stuff isn't my cup of tea.

OK, this took me by surprise and it was a fun surprise. Amazing what happens when we get what we wish for and the impact of it on others, good and bad. It was a refreshing read since it was different from most of the HR books. Enjoyed it alot.
