If you like to read related books in order, this is the second book to read. The first being "His Wicked Ways". I was hoping we would read more about Glenda & Egan when they were introduced in the other book. You feel for Glenda and her losses & why she is so afraid to love again. With Egan he is not the overbearing male hero as in so many of the Medieval era books. This was my favorite of the two.
Set in the highland's, a tale of love and romance with anger, passion, desire and everything that makes a good story.
He would take her as his bride...but would she give her heart in return
This hero & heroine were so full of doubt & lacking trust that I really wanted to yell at them - "Oh, grow up!" I like Samantha James, but this was not one of my favorites.
(4 stars) A quick, enjoyable read.
I love all that the author writes.
It was ok, never read this author's books. This book did keep me interested but not really excited, never the less, it was ok.
