Great story, sad and wonderful at the same time. When someone in your family has suffered from cancer you never forget. This is a story of mystery, courage and of course the wonderful animals Brown has created for all of us to read about. Their interaction is a great part of all of these books and should be enjoyed by all who read. I look forward to the next one, as always.
I used to love this series. However, the last two have struck me as so full of political proselytizing that I just couldn't finish. Ms. Brown is more than welcome to write her politics; I just don't want to read it in her cozies.
A book co-written by a cat ... what's not to like? Quick read and a little fun when for when you don't want to think. In fact, I figured out the killer, motive, etc., early on. The real entertainment is in the animal characters' dialog.
