This is a very good, quick, easy book to read--probably in one day. Although it's listed for 'young adult' I thoroughly enjoyed reading about a young man in the depression that was willing to work even though some considered it 'welfare' or whatever it was called then. It deals with the honest and dishonest in a time that was so hard for so many. Well worth the day it takes to read this fine story.
