This was not the best book in the series so far. I enjoyed it, but kind of felt like I was waiting for Emma to die so I could see what became of her empire. Kind of a slow read compared to A Woman of Substance.

A deeply involving well-told story of the granddaughter of Emma Harte, A Woman of Substance. I vibrantly dazzling look at the world of the rich and powerful. Fantastic story-telling.

Hold the Dream is the continuing saga of Emma Harte and her vast empire. This book picks up where A Woman of Substance ended. The focus of this book is Emma and her grandchilden with Paula taking over as the head of the family. This is a family that still doesn't get along and has more than it's fair share of jealously, lies, and backstabbing mixed in with love, happiness, and grief. This is a well-written book that keeps the reader interested in this family and all of their successes and failures. A must read for any fan of A Woman of Substance.

Really enjoyed this book. Loved the strong women and business success of the main character. But also the strong sense of family and friendship.

A sequel to "Woman of Substance". A great family dynasty continues.
