A moving story about how, as parents, we need to pay attention to every moment. We look forward to all the firsts our children do but fail to notice all the lasts, and would we have "held on longer if I had known it would be your last?"

This is one of my favorite children's books. After reading this book, I started appreciating all my children's lasts. This book covers a lifespan of infanthood to college. My 6 year old, always gives me a hug when we read this book and says "Mommy, are you going to cry again when we read this book." It really does show how quickly 18 years goes by.
This was a good book, for mommy's with little ones.
