I love Christmas stories because they pretty much always end happy, and some of us need that during a very stressful holiday season. It is nice to read other authors in one book, you get a feel for how they write and you may find new authors to read that you might not have read before. I love Fern Michaels and have been a fan of hers for a few years now, but I think I will try some of the other authors in this book. Christmas stories are always a good read.

If you are a sucker for a good Christmas story, you will love this book. Four very different stories to love.

I was told that Fern Micheals is a popular author, but after reading her novella I'm not sure why. The main characters in Holiday Magic are unrealistically stubborn, brutally mean and rude...(sorry for the spoiler) and after chapters of hatred, fall in love and kiss on the last page. What?!? A rather abrupt and unbelievable ending. In contrast, the Cathy Lamb story was hard to put down! The lead male character is tantalizing, while the lead female undergoes an interesting transformation. I'm looking forward to reading the last 2 stories soon.
