awesome read both my husband and I enjoyed it.
Shane Scully is a most unconventional cop. He has the weirdest plans and spins the wildest webs to catch dangerous criminals but somehow they always work. This one is no different. We have drug lords, gangbangers, mexican mafia, italian mafia, hollywood producers/directors/actors and believe it or not, it all starts with a prostitute. This is on twisted tale.
I most admit that eventhough I enjoyed the book, I found myself skipping the parts involving the movie script and production. This was like listening to a foreign language and was beyond boring. The rest of the book was spectacular.

Although I like the characters in the Shane Scully series there just hits and misses for me with the stories and this one was a miss.
For starters it takes forever to get it started and then it introduces too many people to keep track of then it takes off in three or more directions to keep track of and then you have to keep track of the people for each direction it takes then you have to wade through so much descriptions it is boring, then you have to try to pronounce names/places you have no clue what they are but then you have to read through more description of what those names/places mean? This is just way too long and too complicated to keep track of everything so just skim the pages quickly and pick up on what you need to know and move on.
I keep trying this series because I like the characters but at times it is just too much when it is like this one.

Another great Shane Scully story.
Well written until the very end when the protagonist's actions become implausible. Knocks half a star off the rating.
