I'm looking for Holocaust books to read with 5th graders. I have read and enjoyed Number the Stars and also, more recently, Someone Named Eva, but my class's attendance is so spotty that I really need books that I can read and finish in one sitting (10-15 minutes). I just received Eli and Hilde and that looks good. I have Twenty and Ten on my Reminder List (but can't remember who suggested it to me). Can anyone tell me about it? Does anyone have some other good recs for 5th grade? Thanks! Last Edited on: 10/1/10 10:03 AM ET - Total times edited: 2 |

HI; could you give a little more help. how many pages can you read to students in 10-15 min? I have several friends who read a lot of holocaust books but knowing page length would help out before I ask them.
Thank you.
