Well researched and written book about negative impact to children of parents (specifically mother mainly addressed) working full time outside of the home. The writer writes from the perspective that a mother should be present in the home until approximately age 3 at least and presents research and opinions to support her belief.

Dr. Hunter has written a book of encouragement to women who choose to stay at home with their children and the benefits to their children. She examines child development research, her clinical work with women (she's a psychologist) and her personal experience. It is a combination of practical, scientific and personal information on motherhood.

A great book, this author has done her research! I think it would be a great book also for a mom that is wanting to stay at home but not completely sure if it is the best thing. Lots of real life examples and facts about child development.
