this is set in the south and is chock full of interesting characters and themes which apply to all humanity.....loved it and will be reading more of his novels........
This book is exactly the kind of book my dad used to read, an old fashioned war story with romance, and swashbuckling. I admit I didn't finish it because I don't like war stories. But it would be great for someone who likes an old-fashioned read, with a strightforward plot and scenes of war.
