I loved this book even more than the 1st. The book description does a good job of Explaining things. I really enjoyed learning about the past of the Blackwell farmhouse. I think you will love the secret revealed, about the house, how Ida Mae is involved in the past. She keeps a tip lip about the house and it history, til the end.
Move this one to the top of you TBR pile, you wont regret it.

This book is the continuing saga of the author's first book, "A Year on Ladybug Farm". I suggest you read them in sequence. This is a good book but, for some reason, not as good as the first book. The characters have definitely settled in to farm life and their run-down mansion in the Shenandoah Valley. It is entertaining and enjoyable.

This is one of the rare times that I think that the sequel far surpasses the original. Delightful, quick satisfying read.
