As always, Linda Lael Miller's book is a great read. A down at home romance that also includes a bit of a mystery. The characters are exciting and I love how she includes the siblings of the main character, that were in her past books, into this story. A nice read, with wonderful character.

Another Linda Lael Miller great...good read - good story and plot. Miller seems to be able to put you right there in the minute as she writes. This is actually book 6 in the Stone Creek series - but each book can stand alone.

Another good story in the Stone Creek series. This time Ashley hooks up again with Jack McCall, the Special Forces heartthrob who broke her heart a year previously. He's back in town to make amends, but finds that he's been injected with a lethal drug that's killing his bone marrow.
We again see the familiar faces from the other Stone Creek novels...country singer Brad, his wife & new family...sister Livvie (the veterinarian that understands animals) and her husband, and twin sister Melissa--charging ahead with her legal career.
In this book, there's action, romance, and a bit of humor. It was enjoyable and a quick read. I wonder if it's going to be Melissa's story next???

A cute little love story. The ending was rushed, but still so cute.

A good quick read featuring contemporary characters from the Stone Creek Christmas book rather than the historic series. Ashley, and the rest of the O'Ballivan family, are all great characters, literally and figuratively. Jack is somewhat an underdeveloped character, but still quite likeable. My only complaint was that the story was too short to fully develop the plot complexity I've come to like about Ms. Miller's work.

This book was good, more modern day than the first ones. It would be good to find the beginning of the series' and start reading from there.
I think it is amazing the detail that goes into these books and all the geneology. I find that is what keeps my interest. I bury myself in the books, but I wouldn't want to live in those times, except maybe the more modern ones. It's definitely different living in the moneyed circles these characters run in.
The deep kind of love that is written about is what everyone should strive for and hope to find, although it is harder these days.
