This book was more about convincing the reader that they can homeschool on a shoestring, and less about how to do so. After reading it I felt I still didn't know what to do or how to go about ensuring my children were adequately educated while spending very little.

this book was ok. I very rarely feel like I wish that I had spent my time better after reading a book. This was one of those times. I felt that many of their Ideas were unrealistic and out of date. I truly do not understand why it is so reccommended The info in it is in many other books and better presented.

It's amazing how many organizations offer freebies and how many "field trips" are right in your back yard. A great resource whether you're on a budget or not.
