Love, love, love this book. I was raised on it and now, as a mom myself, refer to it often while book hunting. A great gift for a new mom along with your favorite picture book for baby. This older edition has some book recommendations that are removed from the new edition, probably because they might be out of print. If you enjoy older books and the hunt of finding them, you will want this edition for older recommendations.

Great book to inspire you to read lots & lots to/with your children. Also contains a wonderful bibliography in the back, sorted by age and genre (ex. poetry, Christmas...).

I didn't realize this was the older edition (my fault for not reading the publishing date), NOT the 3rd edition shown in the picture. I have no issue with the swapper, but the system has the wrong cover image showing.
