First in the Hawk's Way series
Short sexy book about a young widowed rancher who hires a drifter. A few anomalies, though, ruined it for me. Two of the most glaring: (1) Honey has two sons, 8 and 13 early in the book, but the 8 year old somehow ceases to exist about midway through the book and isn't mentioned again - what happened to Jonathon? (2) Angel is terrified of Jesse due to having time traveled? That raises a bucketload of questions - and it's covered in only a couple of sentences. I suspect this book wasn't carefully proof-read back when it was published. I don't understand why it was never corrected. 2 1/2 stars for very poor editing.
Honey and the Hired Hand is fast paced and entertaining. Honey and Jesse have great chemistry. To be honest, they can't seem to keep their hands off one another. The book is enjoyable enough, and worth a read.
