Normally, I'm not a fan of christian fiction, but if it's a historical romance, I approach cautiously, and I've even found a few authors in the genre who I like who use a very light touch with the religious elements. I can even appreciate a squeaky clean romance if the writing doesn't dip deep into the god talk. Well, this one was marinated in it. So distracting! I took a chance, and it didn't pan out. This writer is not for me. 2 stars.
