This series deals with disappointments, criticism and obstacles in a way that promotes positive values, courage, and perseverence. The kind of material I'd want my kids to read!

My daughter, a self proclaimed horse worshipper, LOVES this book and the series that follows. She cannot get enough. Its wonderful to see how the author has caught her imagination.

Very good and enjoiable read. A great horse lovers read.
I started reading this series when I was in middle school, and I loved it! I only made it the I believe the 18th book in the series before I got out of reading for about 10 years. I am now working on getting the set together so I have it for my children to read, and who knows I might read it again myself.
This is a GREAT book! I couldn't put it down! This book is perfect for people who love horses.
Ashleigh Griffen swore she'd never give her heart to another horse---not after a terrible disease wiped out her family's breeding farm, and Ashleigh's favorite mare.Stardust. Now the Griffens are staring over as breeding managers at Townsand Acres, and Ashleigh is sure she's going to hate living there.
Then a small, sickly foal is born---a beatiful copper filly that looks like Stardust. No one thinks the foal will live or that it's worth trying to save. No one but Ashleigh.
Can one girl's love alone work miracles?

I loved reading this series! I'm too old for them now. I would recommend these to younger horse lovers!
First of a series. Young ladies aged 8-12 will love it. VERY slight water damage.
