Great Read!! An American diplomat's wife is kidnapped in Argentina, and her husband murdered before her eyes. She is told her children will be next if she doesn't tell the kidnappers where her brother is-aman who may know quite a bit about the burgeoning United Nations/Iraq oil-for-food scandal. A Charley Castillo novel.
Another well-written volume in the series.
Good read
Trademark Griffin-action and fun.
Peter Jenkins (News Anchor) and his wife Barbara introduce us to the unsung contemporary heroes whose lives represent the best of the American spirit. In a high-speed, frantic world, they offer a stopping place to rest, recover, and reflect. They show that no matter where you are headed, or how far you have to go, you need never walk alone on the road unseen.
Thought the ending was a little weak, I am not sure if this is a lead in to the next novel

Good story.
Griffin does a typically enjoyable job of moving the action along quickly. Good story, well written, worth a read.
I have always thoroughly enjoyed all of Mr. Butterworth's books (that is his real name). This was no different. I read the books and sort of wish that i could be like his heroes ... so full of confidence and charm alnd always knowing what to do. I'm looking forward to reading the sequel to this book as well as the one he collaborated on with his son.
A great read - could not put the book down. The book is 750 pages.
Typical W.E.B. Griffin. His research and knowledge of the details of the government and it's covert operations are unparalled.
Great follow up to the 1st book.
enjoyable espionage/covert action story
The book caught ny interest right a way. The author develops the characters slowly so that it doesn't overwhelm the reader, giving you just the right info to undertand the stiuation developing. Also have read the second book in the series. Am planning getting the other 3 books in the series.
Like all of the W.E.B. Griffin books - This is a great read
Although it takes a bit to get the story going, it ended very well. 3 stars
Reads like James Bond! Great read.
W.E.B tells a great story however he is very loquacious. What other authors of this caliber can portray in 300-400 pages, he takes 700 plus.
This is the second in the presidential agent series. Very entertaining and realistic story.
Excellant begaining for Griffin's new Presidential Agent series
