A slight disappointment. The characters are like caricatures of a teenager with daddy issues (Eva) and the codependent middle child (Danny).
If you have read the other books, this one seems redundant because it overlaps Beck and Skye's story. I found I was more interested in the cooking challenges than in the lame relationship between Eva and Danny.
There were so many possibilities and areas Edwards could have explored that would have made this book better (like a million cool redemption scenes among different characters) but it's gloss over which made all that angst seem pointless.
It wasn't horrible because I did finish the book but it wasn't great either.
