Jackpot! No one had needed to win the lottery more than Ashley Kavanagh, and she planned to enjoy every penny of her unexpected windfall - starting with a seven-day cruise to the Caribbean. But it wasn't until a ship mix-up paired her with her ex-husband that things really started to heat up. She knew she was better off without Michael's womanizing ways, but constant exposure to his well-muscled chest and to die for lips left her feeling the burn.
Michael Kavanagh had hoped this cruise would help him relax, but when he walked in on his nearly naked ex-wife, everything suddenly became uncomfortably tight. Sharing a cabin with Ashley certainly wouldn't be smooth sailing...she acted as if she'd much rather throw him overboard than listen to the truth, about what had happened two years ago...

Hitting the lottery is so weird to Ashley Kavanagh since she has been using those same numbers for years...and yet after she gets a divorce, she finally hits them. Pure luck? Or destiny?
Taking the offer for the free cruise from the local travel agency who wants to promote its company using her lottery winning fame for their lure, Ashley looks at it as a much needed vacation away from her bungled life and the painful divorce she had gone through.
Things seem great, fabulous even...until...fate seems to have played a cruel joke and mixed her cabin up with her ex-husband's. Why is this happening to her? How could they be stuck with each other after two years in the same cabin on the same ship?

Michael and Ashley Kavanaugh are a divorced couple who win the lottery (separately, by playing their anniversary date) and end up on the same cruise together - minus either of their current love interests. Through Michael's sister's machinations (who happens to be Ashley's best friend) they wind up in the same cabin onboard the cruise. Sparks fly like crazy between these two and they can barely keep their hands to themselves. They are still wildly attracted to each other but both are wary of each other since each feels they were the wronged party in their divorce 2 years earlier. Ashley thinks Michael was unfaithful, Michael thinks Ashley lacked faith in him. This was a light and fun read.
