Fun, fast, and entertaining read.
It is the dog days of summer - but the contest for the Palmer mayoral election is heating up. Jackie Walsh is intrigued to find the incumbent has a mistress, especially when the curvy blonde is strangled to death. But ex-police dog Jake has to protect his own meddling mistress when she takes it upon herself to investigate.
Enjoy this very much. #3 in this series, looking forward to the ones to follow.
This was Book 3 of a series of murder mysteries and I found it very entertaining, humerous, and an easy read when you are in the mood for something light and fun. The characters are the same in the series and the dog, Jake, always help the solving of the mystery. Definitely a good read for dog lovers and mystery buffs.
