Slow to get started and through the middle. It all came together at the end and I loved how the pieces came together and how it ended. I didn't LOVE any of the characters but liked them all and they were well drawn and real. Basic plot summary: Famous children's author dies and leaves his estate to his assistant but leaves many feeling jilted including the museum curator who thought he would be leaving his drawings and papers to the museum and his assistant's brother, who was a model for the drawings in his most famous book. Add in a famous British actor who has signed on to play the author in a movie of his life. Of course some secrets about his life are unveiled while his assistant is organizing his papers. But they leave us wondering what version of the author's story is true and which is fiction. And leaves many wondering if they ever really knew the man.
