For any true crime book fans out there, I wanted to make a great recommendation. House of Secrets by Lowell Cauffiel was one of the best true crime books I have read in awhile. I never even heard of the author, but he's as good as Ann Rule (who is my favorite!) It's about the Sexton family in the 1990's.. I really didn't know the story, I must have been too young then.

I actually just got this book as a freebie in the book bazaar and didn't think too much of it. I happened to pick it up and could hardly put it down. And I just checked and there are many copies in the PBS system, if anyone is interested :) Just a forewarning though, this is a case that has a lot to do with child sexual abuse. Some people can't hear or read about things like that, so just a heads up.
