A good high England read - I particularly loved how she dragged him to the altar :) It was a great story of budding romance in a hard situation. The love scenes were steamy, the fight scenes were great and the story line flows so well, you don't realize it's over with until you turn the last page. Even then, all you can think about is that it's over and that you want it to continue!! You'll love this one, I promise! 4 Stars!

With storm clouds on the horizon, Fiona's determined to marry and "get with child" to save Jack from her four, big, angry brothers. Jack..... well Jack is obsessed with Fiona in kidd boots and not much else. This book will leave you laughing out loud and looking for the next book in the series.

Funny story! Fiona is determined to marry Kincaid, and her plot to get him to the altar, and what happens when they're married makes you laugh out loud. Especially Kincaid's fetish for shoes.

Loved this book! Nice quick read with a sweet story and not a lot of 'drama'..... it's a great story with a cute couple. Not an intense book.

This is the first book in a new series regarding the MacLean family. They have the unusual power to affect the weather. Cute story, but I wonder if anybody proofread this book. There were several typos and errors...

Clever premise, enjoyable read
I loved the story line, it made me want to keep reading and not put the book down till the end. Thought the characters and the MacLean curse was a brilliant thought. I am reading the rest of the series and anticipate each and every book that follows!
Regency romance. Setting is Scotland and London.
I'm new to the genre so this was the first book I have read by Hawkins. It was such an easy read and so much fun. I love all the characters. It was a typical love story and really could have happened anywhere anytime. But the main thing about it was that it was fun! fun! fun!
Look forward to reading more of her books in the future. Great for a light easy read.

Cute, but I don't get the curse and power over the weather element. It seems completely unnecessary, particularly in a historical. Also, the reason for the hero and heroine not getting together the first time is silly and inconsistent with the heroine's personality. It is also never really addressed and resolved at the end. The sinister plot also seems a bit shallow and trite. And I think the copy editor was asleep. Don't let the lovely cover art fool you. This book is not good and if you're like me, it will drive you crazy.
Fiona MacLean drags Black Jack Kincaid to the alter...literally. He is too drunk to realize that it isn't just a dream...or a nightmare. She does it to stop the feud between their families. What will happen when he wakens and finds that it wasn't just a bad dream?
First book I have read from author. Good book and fast read.
A fast-paced, pretty shallow read. This book establishes the MacLean family and their weather curse (they make storms when they're unhappy). Some steamy scenes but characters without a lot of depth and many parts of the story left untold: How did they come to be lovers all those years ago when she was so very young? What happened with his family? Why does everyone hate Campbell?
I couldn't describe this book as good but sometimes it is fun to read a book that you can finish quickly, that doesn't try to teach you anything, is just entertainment. This fits.

Very cute story. Really enjoyed the read.
It's hardly the type of wedding Fiona MacLean dreamed of. No family, no guests, just a groom who's been dragged -- literaly -- to the altar. But if marriage to Black Jack Kincaid, the handsome wastrel she's sworn never to see again, will avert a bloody war between their clans, so be it. Surely she can share his bed without losing her heart.....
Known throughout Scotland and London as a wild rogue, Jack is accustomed to waking in dire situations, but .... married? Long ago, he and Fiona reveled in a youthful passion. Now, the fiery, sensual lass is his once more. And though their marriage is in name only, Jack is determined to win her forever -- body and soul...
