I thought I would like this book but I just didn't. First, the author doesn't know what the definition of the word "fulsome" is and she must use it about 20 times. Every time I recovered from her fulsome use of the word fulsome she used it incorrectly again. Second, she mentions so many unattainable things, that you would have to travel all over the world to find, that I just can't relate to the book. MFK Fisher makes for much better foodie reading.
