Although this book is beautifully photographed and designed, beware some of the recipes! I'm a professional pastry cook, and couldn't get some of them to work properly. Although this is not uncommon due to misprints, lack of recipe testing and differences in climate (elevation and humidity can do a number on a recipe!), I have never had a problem with more than one or two recipes (MAX) per book before. I will say that the recipes that do work are delicious, though!
