This book was not as good as Running for me. All of the characters seemed extreme, mostly all good or all bad. Still well-written and creative, worth reading.
A lot like Racing in the Rain. Pretty intense, about raising a child in a non-nuclear family situation. Lots of local Seattle flavor.
