I enjoy the books in this series. Some are better than others, but all of them show a genuine care and concern for people and a willingness to befriend and help them regardless of whether they are deserving of help and friendship or not.

This book is one of my least favorites of the series that I have read so far. Of course I loved reading another story about Kate and how she handles interesting circumstances but the story of the lady that collapsed into Kate's lap and her "strange" unknown medical problem was a little too vague for me. And then the ending just wrapped up so easily which seemed a little strange. A person with emotional/mental issues doesn't just fix themselves overnight. And people who have been wronged aren't so easily open to that person again.
