Enjoyable conclusion to this series. Plot was really engaging starting with Annalise's attempted murder and throughout her recovery. But all the secrecy became tiresome and I just wanted Annalise to finally entrust Owen with her dilemma so that they could work out a solution together. The conclusion was a bit unsatisfying in how it all played out (it was rushed and a little flat), but Annalise and Owen did get their HEA. 3.5 stars.

This series held my interest until the end. This wasn't my favorite in the series, but I grew to like Annalise and Owen. Annalise is 'forced' to marry a Duke, bad things happen and she is then rescued by Owen who has a dark past of his own. It took forever for Owen and Annalise to share their secrets, I would have, appreciated that occurring sooner, also would have liked more scenes with Annalise's sisters, I mean come on this is a series.
