The Federation and the Klingons are trying to get a neutral planet to join both of their sides. The inhabitants are willing to sell their planet, but only to the faction that impresses them the most. Silliness ensues as both groups vie for the control of the planet. This is a decent read, but the characters are parodies of themselves and the plot really doesn't fit into the true Star Trek universe well. But, if you're in the mood for something silly and different, give it a shot.

I agree with the previous review - this is more a satire of a typical Star Trek book. Well done, a bit campy, but I think with the affection of a Trekker. Good for a laugh if that's what you're in the mood for.
