I thought this was a very loving story between two people trying to make a bad situation good (marriage of convenience) while having to deal with their insecurities. An emotional account of their budding relationship, I thoroughly relished watching their mutual attraction and tender feelings build and gain ground as Will courted Amy. Of course, they each had their one big secret, but I thought Amy's was minimal compared to Will's, and yet he had the nerve to make a big fuss. Fortunately (and I say this because too many of our heroes get off lightly), he had to grovel...and I liked that because he needed to work hard for Amy's love. He was a tormented man at the very end but he fixed it with a very romantic--if maybe just a tad bit corny--gesture. An engrossing read and a very solid addition to this author's How to... series. 4 stars.
