Maybe you CAN judge a book by looking at the cover, gold lame bikini = lame and glittery gossipy paperback. This is one of the dumbest books ever, you can almost write it yourself from reading the back cover. But it's written well and a fun and mindless read, one that will be perfect poolside. Follow the wacky adventures of vapid, privileged youth and problems money (and lawyers) can solve. The author notes that her fictional portrayal of Palm Beach teenagers is based on reality. Yikes! Enjoy!!

I loved this book. The write really gave a great insight to all the main characters. I could not put this book down. I finished it in 4 days. It was a sneak peak into the lives of rich and famous teens who playup the the media hype.

This is the book that lead to CW's tv show, Privileged. I picked up the book b/c the loved the show, and while the book is a bit different, it did not disappoint. A fun, quick read!

Very fun read, similar to The Nanny Diaries and The Devil wears Prada. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to more from the author.

I really enjoyed this lighthearted look at why the filthy rich are different from you and me. It was a light read (only took 2 days to read) and yet wasn't fluffy at all.

Better than the TV show - Priviledged- by a mile.

Fun book! The plots were quite funny. It was great reading it because it reminded me of my childhood - I was born & raised in Palm Beach, FL. I can't wait to read Dean's other books.

This book is hilarious! This is the novel upon which the tv series "Privileged" was based, although the book is infinitely more riotous! Yale graduate Megan Smith heads to Palm Beach to tutor the wealthy Baker twins after she gets fired from her job at a tabloid magazine in New York. Celebutante society is portrayed as hugely ridiculous. This book will have you laughing out loud!

This book is one of my favorite chick lit books. Zooey Dean's style of writing makes this book a fun read; it has just enough wit and sarcasm to keep you smiling throughout. The main character development is great and makes the post-grad student Megan seem a little more real. There is a little bit of fairytale-ness but don't let it stop you from trying this book anyway.

This was a pretty good time. It's a fast read and enjoyable with hijinks coming from the rich kids and yet finding a love interest. Funny!
