A wonderful book on weaning. Doesn't tell you how to wean, helps you through the process.

I read this book in conjuntion with "Mothering Your Nursing Toddler." Together, they made me feel better about my extended nursing and allowed me to make the conscious decision to encourage child-led weaning. I think this book is very good about not being defensive, which is a common reaction given the disapproval you may encounter from family members, etc. I would recommend this book with no reservations to help give you some perspective.

I liked this book because there's not too many books out there that cover the subject of weaning as effectively as La Leche League...actually not many books cover the subject at all!! Good reference for the first time breastfeeding mother.
