I don't usuallly read Harlequinn, but recieved this in a box of books and really enjoyed it. The story is a mystery that deals with witches and their powers. I couldn't put it down. I have ordered the rest of this series.

(Moriah's Landing series) Danger! Undercover agent Jonah Ries couldn't explain to the stunning woman who'd mistaken him for her blind date exactly how he knew someone was trying to harm her. But evil stalked Moriah's Landing, and Katherine Ridgemont was its target.

Katherine Ridgemont had grown up in Moriah's Landing, had heard all the stories about the mysterious Ries family. None of which could be true. But Jonah Ries attracted her like no other man and the sense of impending doom that hovered over Katherine couldn't be explained. Evil stalked Moriah's Landing, and Katherine Ridgemont was its target, just like her mother before her. Jonah always seemed to be around, watching her... or stalking her. For the Reis family, one might be the same as the other.
