"spoiler alert"
Not my favorite of this series. I can't quite put my finger on the exact reason, but I found myself skimming pages of internal dialogue with Kougar and Ariana. Their love story did not spark anything for me. I was way more interested in the characters around them. It almost seemed like this book was just a bridge to get you to something else, maybe the next book. I really wanted to see more of Wulfe and Natalie's interaction. Even though she has been sent back to her real human life, maybe she will return to make Wulfe happy. And why couldn't Ariana free the other spirits trapped so that they may find new feral warriors? All in all, this story left me scratching my head, and bored enough that I am not sad its over. I am by no means giving up on this series, not all the books will be "hits" and I'm looking forward to seeing who's story is next, maybe Hawke, or Wulfe?

I loved all the books in this series, so I will say up front, you must read the previous books or you will be lost. The ending had so many unresolved issues with multiple possibilities for the next story.
I agree with Stacy, it felt like a bridge to the next book. I would have enjoyed less of the sex between Kougar & Ariana, which I ended up skimming over, and more interaction between Wulfe & Natalie or even Pink and Xavier - both fascinating characters. So not my favorite but it did advance the story line.

I really loved this book. Kougar is an awesome character. I love the way Palmer is putting more characters stories in each book.

This wasn't one of my favorites. The series seems to get more tedious as they go along. I did like the history that was given about what happened to all the shifters, however, I think Palmer wasted a whole book in a couple of pages. I would have liked to see that story in much great detail. Also, there was no peek at the next book in the series - just snippets of books 1-4. I felt cheated. I'm stretching to give it 3 stars, but I love my Feral Warriors, so I can't manage to give less.
